Wim Vanlessen is a celebrated principal ballet dancer with a remarkable career spanning 25 years. Knighted Chevalier in the Order of Leopold in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the cultural arts in Belgium, he has formerly served as an ambassador for dance representing the Royal Ballet Flanders on and off the stage. 

He was awarded numerous times and was called a paragon of classicism by

the New York Times, a dancer who combines elegance with effortless virtuosity.

Additionally he has published his autobiography “Dancer” and a children’s book. 

Currently Wim vanlessen is the founder and Artistic Director of the Time To Dance Ballet Gala which supports the Dansersfonds! He is heavily involved in movement direction projects, mentoring, coaching and keynote speaking and appeared as a judge on

Dancing with the Stars!
